WASHINGTON LANDSCAPES   (One of the Best Gem's of American Art)

The Washington Landscapes Exhibition offers a sumptuous look at our nation’s capital. Paintbrushes, pen and ink and intricate appliqués of three artists capture the city’s majestic landscape from strikingly different perspectives. Bernard Dellario’s masterful abstraction of great landscapes of the Washington, DC region, including Rock Creek Park, is matched by McDonald’s dedicated precision.

Brandon McDonald’s pen and ink impressions capture nature along the edges of daylight. His skilled hand creates magical worlds where we find trees piled with snow, hillsides rugged with rock, and wooded trails - from our Billy Goat Trail to the National Forest treasures of the USA.

Andrea Limauro probes the very reason Washington is the pulse of persuasion and power, channeling our view of American democracy through government culpability in climate change, migration disasters and gun violence. Limauro selects icons like the Lincoln Memorial and urges us to see them from a wider angle on social commentary. A visual artist and city planner, he brings creative dynamism to Washington’s landscape. His work has been widely exhibited in Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia. The artist lives in the metropolitan area.

For over 30 years The America Eurasia Center’s Art Program has featured artists from Europe and Asia by staging a number of exciting exhibitions in Washington, DC. As we launch our plans to create a new National Museum of American-Eurasian Art and Culture, we would like to emphasize the ‘A’ in America by featuring talented American Artists by promoting such American Artists as featured in the Amy Kaslow Galley as well as other American Artists in future Art Exhibitions. Our Program focuses the Art of Cultural Diplomacy to bring peace and understanding among peoples and nations through the Arts.
