East Asia
East Asia is a region of Eurasia that has a very wide variety of countries spanning from China to Japan. The foundations of this region were set in place by ancient empires and civilizations from the Han Dynasty to the Mongolian Empire. Currently home to one of the world’s largest economies as well as one of the most repressed countries in the world, East Asia struggles to find a balance between prosperity and poverty. East Asia is a very diverse region of Eurasia as it is home to six states that all have ethnically diverse populations. China is one of the world’s superpowers and largest economies, making it the most dominant state in East Asia. Japan is another one of the world’s strongest economies but has historically had a turbulent relationship with other countries in East Asia such as China. While this region of Eurasia has a wide range of security issues it is still home to some of the world’s strongest economies.
